Well I picked up the Kiddies Christmas Pictures today and they are so Cute!!!! You should of seen the waiting room at the Picture Studio....so glad I went when I did!!! Also has to make a Walmart run...as my son was all out of his morning cereal...Oh No! Can't have that...picked up a few things as well on the Christmas List too......trying to get finished!! I also bought a box of Eyebrow Wax strips...and guess what when I got home, I opened up the box...for some reason before putting it in the bathroom closet and to my surprise there were NO wax strips in the box!!! Someones had already taken them out...they were nice enough to leave the finishing oil though...I cannot believe it....this has never happened to me before...I called Walmart and they said to bring it back and they will replace it......For someone to steal $5.00 worth of wax strips....are you serious......I am still in shock about the whole thing!!!!

More Christmas shopping!!

Just ordered some Christmas presents off of Amazon. I got some great deals plus everything I ordered qualified for free super saving shipping. I just want to get all of this Christmas shopping done. And I have a growing mound of toys in my attic that need to be wrapped. It is so hard to wrap gifts when your kids are around. So I will have to wait to wrap my presents until my daughter is out with her Mom Mom. Today was a good day though, went grocery shopping, and then went over my sisters for some Pizza. Haley just loves going over there and so does my son, I mean really he just loves climbing all of the steps. He doesn't get to do that at home because we live in a rancher, (and I am glad about that). I am heading to bed myself, but I am going to call my hubby real quick, I am so excited he is coming home tomorrow. I often think how weird it is going to be when he will be home all the time after we move to Florida, I am so used to him being away sometimes I forget what it was like to have him home regularly. I know that the kids can't wait. Haley wishes everyday was Friday because that is when her daddy comes home. We'll goodnight talk to you soon.

The Cost to Eat.....

Being as frugal as I am there is one area in which it seems the costs are rising....the Grocery Bill each week!! I remember I use to spend about $50 a week for our family on groceries...now it is up to about $70 a week!!!! The price of milk alone is outrageous...$3.50 a gallon...WOW!! At 4-5 gallons a week it starts to add up fast!! I still coupon clip alot, but the items are just not as great a deal as they used to be......Eggs, juice, bread, cereal, yogurt....they all just keep rising!! I try my hardest to shop around and when something goes on sale I really stock up....but can't always do that...who wants old bread and sour milk...LOL...LOL Now I try to get somethings at Walmart, few other things at Target , and some at ShopRite and even Wegmans... It is a little more running around, but I do not go to every store each week....I wait until I compile a decent list for that store and then I make a run there...OR if there is a great sale and coupons for an item I run there as well....a little faster of course!!! Man, I sure miss all the FREE Wegmans coupons they were passing out a few months back.....they were great!!! Now I only ever get ShopRite coupons for $10 off a $100 or more purchase....I get excited now when I do not have to use that coupon...LOL...LOL
Well I just had to rant a bit...Feeling a bit better now!!! Feel free to offer any tips you may have....I can always use them!!

Well, hubby surprised me last night and shaved off his mustache......In 10 years...this is the VERY 1st time seeing him without one!!!! And I LOVE IT!!! He looks like whole new man....I just cannot stop staring at him...LOL...LOL !!! My son asked him " Daddy who stole your mustache??"" We just cracked up...LOL... Well I mailed out my Christmas cards yesterday...I know a little early, but last year I waited until the very end and the line to get stamps at the post office was a nightmare!!! I wised up a little this year!! This year I got the photo cards online and just had to stuff them in the envie and address them...so Easy!! I'm loving technology these days!!

It's been so long.........

It has been so long since I have last written that now I don't even know where to start. We'll Black Friday was a huge success me and my sister racked up the deals. My sons first birthday party was on Saturday, and that too went great. He got a lot of great toys which he was in need of because all he had to play with were his older sister's stuff. He was in major need of boy related toys. Plus it is great having two kids so close in age, because Haley felt as though she got new toys as well. We'll today I just decorated for Christmas, although I don't have my Christmas tree up yet. I am hoping this year to get a real one so hopefully on Saturday me and my hubby will go and pick one out. A Leafy Day...

Today was all about the leaves...and raking and blowing them of course....We had to spend the day outside getting the leaves to the curb for pick-up this week. Man...I was so tired.....I love my trees in the summer when they shade the patio, but now when hubby and I have to rake them they are not exactly so wonderful...LOL My son helped too.....he was a big help, and had sooo much fun jumping in the big leaf piles....(I can still remember when I was a kid and the FUN we had in the big leaf piles!) It was also Christmas Decorating Day at our house today too!! YEAH!! My favorite time of year!! We decorated the Christmas Tree, put up the stockings, decorations inside, outside lights, and wreaths too!! It was a great day!!!! We even sung and danced to Christmas songs!! (My sons favorite part!!!) My daughter loved dancing to the music too!!

A sick day for my son

My poor son has been sick since last night. This is the first time he has really gotten sick since he was born. He threw up last night, and would got up every two hours last night. And tonight I thought I was in the clear when both kids were sleeping by 9:00 but then my son woke up at 9:15 and threw up all. But I got him all washed up gave him some motrin for his fever, and he went right back to sleep. I hope he doesn't get sick again, and sure hope my daughter doesn't get what he has. We'll hopefully he will be better by his birthday party on Saturday. I'm so excited that black Friday is only a couple days away, I am ready to rack up the deals. I am doing so good with my Christmas shopping this year, I mean I even came up with a great gift idea for my dad's fiance. Although my husband told me he wanted something for Christmas and I had to guess what it was but after about an hour of guessing I gave up. I am stumped. I mean he told me it wasn't anything for his motorcycle, it wasn't clothes, or even car related. My husband is so hard to buy for and I feel like I never get the right gift. So this Christmas I am determined to get him a gift that he actually wants. We'll see how it turns out. We'll I better go and get some shut eye before my son wakes up, but goodnight to all.

Time flies!

Today I did the usual grocery shopping thing. I had to buy a lot of items for my sons first birthday party which is next Saturday. I can't believe he is going to be one, I mean it has flown by. Watching my kids grow up is the greatest, I mean it teaches you to appreciate every moment because time really does fly by. I mean my daughter isn't even three and she corrects me when I say "where are my babies?", she says "no mommoy your baby and big girl". Me and my husband always told her when she used the potty she would be a big girl and now that she uses the potty she only likes to be called a big girl. Although I always tell her she will always be my baby, now matter how old. She just laughs!! My hubby isn't coming home till tommorow morning, but he will have a long thanksgiving day weekend. Which is good becasue me and my sister are headed out 5 am sharp on black Friday to get the deals. I plan on having both of my kids and my niece and nephew done by Friday night. I went to Macy's today...as they are having a GREAT "Lowest Prices of the Season Sale" today and tomorrow only. They have LOTS of Clearance and Morning Specials until 1pm. I shopped the baby and girls department and did awesome! I purchased my daughter some summer and winter shirts for $2.49 each!!! And the original tags on them said $7.99-$16.00. They are so cute.....all different colors and styles. They had the same deals for baby boys as well, as I picked up a few for my nephew tool. I also found some great deals in the girls department.... I made out and was so excited!!! Getting deals is awesome...especially on stuff you actually need!!!

I also went to Wegmans today as they were also having great deals too.....Wegmans brand cream cheese was just 59 cents.....Purex laundry detergent just 99 cents (free after 1.00 of manufacturer coupon in Sunday paper)...They also had Townhouse cracker for $2.00 (minus the 1.00 manufacturer coupon), and Wegmans Pepperoni for just $1.79 (great for the upcoming holidays appetizers!)

All About My Pop....

Today was an interesting day to say the least...my son and I went to visit my Nana and Pop today for a little while....My Pop just recently got out of the hospital and we have not had a chance to visit a lot lately..so today seemed like the perfect day.....They have been married over 50 years, and they love to see the children....my Pop always asks my son for a handshake..saying ho him "Put it Here"... And amazingly enough every time we visit my son walks up to his great grand pop and gives a shake and a kiss....and my Pop just smiles ear to ear!!! It amazes me what a great guy he is...so patient, kind, loving, the real do anything for you kind of fellow....He's almost like a saint in some respects!! I remember as a little girl he used to drive me and pick me up from dance class and he would always enter threw the exit and vice verse....He would always say every week..."Why all the honking?" I was to young to know how to tell him he was driving the wrong way....every time I pass by that dance school I just laugh and think of those times!! My Pop is a great guy...I love him dearly and hope he can help make many more memories together with my family!!

A Home Day......

As my son always asks everyday....is it going to be a home day today??? Well, today was his favorite kind of day...A Home Day!!! We had a fun-filled day of playing cars, playing Dora Candy land, making a Corn craft, playing trains, and MORE!! Home days are the best, so relaxing, and snuggle fest time with the kiddies...my favorite part!!...LOL My son amazed me today....when someone took a toy from his sister today he said so politely to the little boy...excuse me, could you please share the toy with my sister too.....I was so impressed..he is a big brother and was protecting his sister today...I was so touched!! It is so amazing the bond the two of them share. It's awesome!!

Picture Day!!

Today was Christmas Picture Day....Yes you are looking at your calender right...I just got smarter this year....last year we took Christmas pictures in mid-December and boy was I sorry...I wised up this year and made an appointment the first week Christmas back drops came in to the store.....And guess what...went pretty well, the camera did not break like last year, we only waited 15 minutes verses 1.5 hours last year (and yes that was with an appointment), and one pose actually turned out just right!!! It was a successful picture day!! YEAH!!! You do not know how many times I was so dis-satisfied with the whole picture place that my son actually had a gap of about 2 years with no professional pictures!! Have had no problems since my daughter was born though....My advice to you is get your children's pictures appointments ASAP..while I was there the photographer told me there were 27 messages on the voicemail to make appointments.....Good Luck!!!

I am At my Dad's right now, doing wash of course. Although Haley and Nick are both sleeping so I am enjoying some much needed quiet time. I am not feeling so well, so it is nice just to sit down and relax. I think my sister gave me her cold, thanks Tanya. Well today was a little bit messy....It all started when I told my son we were heading out to the grocery store....He despises ShopRite...LOL First off I decided to go to a new store that just opened up around us, instead of the usual store (My 1st mistake)......So the usual 1 hour shopping trip quickly turned into 1.5 hours...lucky me...LOL ( As I do not know where anything is in this store!!) I was trying to find the Mozzarella cheese that was on sale so I could make lasagna for dinner tonight, figures they have NONE!! I was told by an employee it should arrive shortly if I would like to wait....young guy....probably doesn't have any kids yet...has no clue as to why I cannot hang around to wait for the cheese to arrive soon to the store.....Oh, Buddy I wish I had the time to wait.....LOL .....SO much for my dinner plans...as they were pretty much changed at that very moment. So now we are off to find my son his Lunchable Jr's...and of course he likes the ham, cracker, and cheese combo and they have everything but..naturally! Back and forth from isle to isle we go and then back to revisit a few isles again....forgot a few things here and there....SO FINALLY...we are rockin and rolling on out to the checkouts!! YEAH!! Not so fast...the bagger we have likes to put only a few items in each bag...so now we have TONS of bags with two items in each, not to mention there is No where to put all the bags.....Of course, we had to get an airplane cart and my daughter in her carrier takes up one whole basket so I have only one small basket for the groceries.....The bagger just kept piling them higher and higher.....Wait, then there is a problem with one of my coupons...have to call a manager...after a wait of a few minutes we are done....now we have to return the movie to the redbox in the front of the store....my son is not too happy...he would like to watch "The Robinson's" just one more time.....after a small talk he agrees that it is the next little boys turn to borrow it and we will be sure to add the movie to his Santa Wish list as soon as we get home. So out the door we head....not so fast...as we are exiting the store one of the bags falls to the ground the gallon of milk and ice cream topple out, milk everywhere......Yes, all over......whole gallon all over me, the ground, the cart..... Well I guess if I wanted to end the shopping trip right this was the right way to do it!!!! LOL LOL
I think next week i will go back to my regular Shop Rite....much less excitement there!!

A Shopping Day...

Well today was a shopping day......trying to finish up the Christmas shopping before the stores get WAY too crowded!! My plan did not exactly work....Christmas Tree Shops was PACKED to the Gills!!! I did find some great deals...but only really got threw half of the store, since EVERY isle was so jam packed! I guess I was not the only one with the Early Christmas shopping idea....LOL If you have never been there it is a great place to go...they always have new stuff, at great prices.....but if you see something you like...better buy it, OR next time you go it will be gone...I speak from experience!! We also made some retuns today......they are the absolute WORST!!! We are still trying to hang up our new TV....hubby cannot find the right wall mount bracket.....AHH!! We have bought and returned way too MANY!!! The TV thing is going about as good as Tash's laundry Fiasko...we just can't catch a break!! Hubby FINALLY ordered one online tonight.....so hopefully soon we can watch it....out of the box and turned on that is!!!

Laundry Laundry!!

Hello to all, right now I am currently at my Dad's doing laundry. I have not done laundry in 4 days so I will proabably be here till dinner time. Lucky me! See my new washer and dryer got delivered yesterday, but without the stacking kit which allows us to stack the dryer on top of the washer we cannot use the either one. We have had nothing but problems with Home depot which is the store we purchased the washer and dryer from. They told us they would have a stacking kit by Nov. 5. But when I called yesterday the salesman told me that they have been unable to get these stacking kits from Maytag for some reason and he has no idea whern they will be getting one in. He said he is having the same problem with another customer of his. It is just frustrating that we bought this particular washer and dryer becasue it is stackable, and now we can't even stack it. We'll that is enough venting about my Home Depot problem. And hopefully I will be doing wash again at my house by next week. And As we speak my husband is putting down my kitchen floor. So things are moving along. But I probably have another 4 weeks before it is completely done. As long as we are completed by Christmas Eve I will be happy, I just want to have a Christmas open house with my new kitchen. Last night me and my hubby dropped the kids off at my in laws so we could pick out a kitchen floor, and then my husband wanted to stop at walmart to get Haley a toy because he said he promised her one. So we went to walmart and he said he wanted to get her a Dora back pack. We walked around that store 2 times and couldn't find one. So I kept telling him to get this puppy toy that was in a cage with a dog bone, food, water dish, and grooming tools but he said that she wouldn't like that. So we made a bet; we each picked out a toy, he decided to go with a dora back pack chair, (it was the closest thing he could find). I was confident she would like the puppy toy better, and low and behold when we walked into my in-laws house she went crazy when she say the puppy in the cage. The Dora seat she looked at, said thank you and went right back to the puppy. Needless to say my husband owes me a back massage. So since I will be doing all this wash today I think I will redeem my massage tonight. It was fun though to win that bet, I always loose bets with my husband. I will enjoy every moment of that massage. We'll I will talk to you all tommorow have a great day.

My Hubby's Tatoos

I was getting ready to doze off when I remembered I didn't post today. So here I am. I got off the phone with my hubby not to long ago, we were just talking about the kids and of course the fact that he is getting more tatoo work done on his arm on thursday. Which I am not too excited about. I do not have one tatoo, my husband on the other hand has too many. Or I like to say enough for the both of us. He informed me that one tatoo that covers his whole arm, isn't finished yet and that is what he is getting work on. He mine as well just get it all colored black. I mean how much more ink does he need? JK I just think it is funny how different me and my hubby are about this, but that is what makes our relationship so exciting I guess. I mean if we agreed on everything what fun would it be? It would make life boring. (Even if he one day is covered head to toe with tatoos, I will still love him. Although hopefully that won't happen.) I probably just jinxed myself. We'll Goodnight to all. Hopefully I don't have any nightmares about my husband's tatoos.

It's Contagious.....

Well my sister had to get me started...thinking about all the Christmas presents that I need to buy...so I started online shopping today. I stayed home today to rest and I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. My son is the hard one this year...he is 4 now and getting tougher and tougher to buy for!! He just loves the 99 cent Hot Wheels Cars, but how many of them do we need?? We must have at least 100 of them...I wanted to mix it up a little for him for Christmas..I know, I know just ask him to make a list or what he is wishing for.....all I get is he would love to have Caroline (from Thomas and Friends) and maybe a movie too. Don't worry I do not even get a title...LOL I have to start thinking up something soon I suppose....My daughter is cake this year and next year too probably. its is usually my hubby that is sooo hard to buy for....but this year we got smart...with the kiddies and all it is so hard to shop for each other so we are just going to buy a sofa for our family room...Only took us about 8 years to wise up to the idea!!! LOL We will just buy each other something small for under the tree...Sounds good to me...My son will love that idea too....WAY less trips to the stores to find the perfect gifts for daddy!!! Well I better get some shipping in before it gets too late.....my sister has made me wiser than last year..I am ALL about the online shopping this year!!! I can shop when the kiddies are in bed and they do not have to be bothered going to all the stores!!!

Early Christmas Shopping

Since the kids are asleep I thought I would write. I must admit though I am obsessed with doing my christmas shopping online. I mean I love to go to toysrus and then amazon and compare prices, and suprisingly amazon is cheaper about 75% of the time. And the best thing is every toy I am interested in buying at amazon.com is included in their super saver shipping which means it ships free. Thats why I love shopping online, you get good deals and the kids don't have to be dragged to all these stores. Plus the best part is I don't risk Haley seeing a glimpse of her christmas presents. I mean today at Target I was trying my best for her not to see the two huge Play Doh super craft caddies I got. One was for her and the other for my nephew. But somehow I distracted her and slipped them under the cart and she never noticed, but that was just luck. I mean now that she is almost 3 she catches on, and I don't want to spoil christmas for her. you know? We'll I am going to do some shopping have a great night!!

A Little Under the Weather Today.....

Unfortunately, I am not feeling so hot today....I have my first cold of the season....of course I get something first and it is a cold.....figures! Hopefully tomorrow I feel a little bit better...I will begin slurping the Chicken Soup a little earlier tomorrow than today, maybe that's the trick. I made BBQ chicken for dinner in the crock-pot and it tasted like air....the one night I actually cook something good and I can't even taste it...hubby said it was good though (and he's my biggest critic). My son was a doll today he knew I did not feel well and he was covering me all up with the blanket, passing me his bed pillow, and being OH such a little helper! It's like they know just when you need them to be such perfect little angels!! Well I am off to bed....I know so early like an old lady....Oh Well call me what you will...I feel like an Old, Old sick lady tonight!!

Good Day.....Getting back to normal!!!!

We'll today was a good day, I guess I feel like things are back to normal, cause Kevin went back to work today. And the construction in my kitchen is on hold till he gets home on friday. Its nice not listining to the sounds of saws and drills. But I sure do miss having my hubby around. Plus another good thing about this whole redoing the kitchen thing is I don't eat as much. Definately a good thing!! Sorry, I am watching Dancing with the stars while typing. I know the show can be dorky but I just love it. We'll the kids are asleep I agree with you Tanya the whiole Daylight savings time thing is just great!! I am going to search out some toys online, to see where I can get the best price. I want to get most of the kids Chruistmas presents by thanksgiving. I'll let you know waht I find. Goodnight to all and hopefully I will be able to post tommorow. A lovely Sunday......

It's Sunday the day after daylight savings time change and guess what the kiddies have been asleep since 7:50pm.....Ahh!!! Hubby and I love daylight savings time!!! They have not both gone to sleep that early in....I do not think EVER!!!

Anyway today was great!! The weather was nice, not so cold as it has been in the last couple days. We spent the day looking at TVs. Yes it is about time we upgrade and get with the program.....Yes we still do have all old regular TVs and not 1LCD...yet that is. Were getting there..I hope at least. We have been to more stores since Friday then I wanted to go to all year!! Too many choices...wish they just had one size, one brand, and one price...wishful thinking!! Hopefully by this time next week we will have gotten a new one and I will be watching it with hubby!!! Enough about TVs...I'm tired of them for now!!!

Macy's sent me some coupons last week so I went today with the fam and racked up!!! Got some great deals!!! Plus I got some coupons for my next trip!! Hubby did well too...he lost some weight so he needed new jeans...WISH I had that problem...more wishful thinking...LOL..LOL
