It's Contagious.....

Well my sister had to get me started...thinking about all the Christmas presents that I need to buy...so I started online shopping today. I stayed home today to rest and I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. My son is the hard one this year...he is 4 now and getting tougher and tougher to buy for!! He just loves the 99 cent Hot Wheels Cars, but how many of them do we need?? We must have at least 100 of them...I wanted to mix it up a little for him for Christmas..I know, I know just ask him to make a list or what he is wishing for.....all I get is he would love to have Caroline (from Thomas and Friends) and maybe a movie too. Don't worry I do not even get a title...LOL I have to start thinking up something soon I suppose....My daughter is cake this year and next year too probably. its is usually my hubby that is sooo hard to buy for....but this year we got smart...with the kiddies and all it is so hard to shop for each other so we are just going to buy a sofa for our family room...Only took us about 8 years to wise up to the idea!!! LOL We will just buy each other something small for under the tree...Sounds good to me...My son will love that idea too....WAY less trips to the stores to find the perfect gifts for daddy!!! Well I better get some shipping in before it gets too late.....my sister has made me wiser than last year..I am ALL about the online shopping this year!!! I can shop when the kiddies are in bed and they do not have to be bothered going to all the stores!!!

Early Christmas Shopping

Since the kids are asleep I thought I would write. I must admit though I am obsessed with doing my christmas shopping online. I mean I love to go to toysrus and then amazon and compare prices, and suprisingly amazon is cheaper about 75% of the time. And the best thing is every toy I am interested in buying at amazon.com is included in their super saver shipping which means it ships free. Thats why I love shopping online, you get good deals and the kids don't have to be dragged to all these stores. Plus the best part is I don't risk Haley seeing a glimpse of her christmas presents. I mean today at Target I was trying my best for her not to see the two huge Play Doh super craft caddies I got. One was for her and the other for my nephew. But somehow I distracted her and slipped them under the cart and she never noticed, but that was just luck. I mean now that she is almost 3 she catches on, and I don't want to spoil christmas for her. you know? We'll I am going to do some shopping have a great night!!

A Little Under the Weather Today.....

Unfortunately, I am not feeling so hot today....I have my first cold of the season....of course I get something first and it is a cold.....figures! Hopefully tomorrow I feel a little bit better...I will begin slurping the Chicken Soup a little earlier tomorrow than today, maybe that's the trick. I made BBQ chicken for dinner in the crock-pot and it tasted like air....the one night I actually cook something good and I can't even taste it...hubby said it was good though (and he's my biggest critic). My son was a doll today he knew I did not feel well and he was covering me all up with the blanket, passing me his bed pillow, and being OH such a little helper! It's like they know just when you need them to be such perfect little angels!! Well I am off to bed....I know so early like an old lady....Oh Well call me what you will...I feel like an Old, Old sick lady tonight!!

Good Day.....Getting back to normal!!!!

We'll today was a good day, I guess I feel like things are back to normal, cause Kevin went back to work today. And the construction in my kitchen is on hold till he gets home on friday. Its nice not listining to the sounds of saws and drills. But I sure do miss having my hubby around. Plus another good thing about this whole redoing the kitchen thing is I don't eat as much. Definately a good thing!! Sorry, I am watching Dancing with the stars while typing. I know the show can be dorky but I just love it. We'll the kids are asleep I agree with you Tanya the whiole Daylight savings time thing is just great!! I am going to search out some toys online, to see where I can get the best price. I want to get most of the kids Chruistmas presents by thanksgiving. I'll let you know waht I find. Goodnight to all and hopefully I will be able to post tommorow. I have to get my sisiter over here to see what the problem is. Ok, sorry for the rambling on and on.

A lovely Sunday......

It's Sunday the day after daylight savings time change and guess what the kiddies have been asleep since 7:50pm.....Ahh!!! Hubby and I love daylight savings time!!! They have not both gone to sleep that early in....I do not think EVER!!!

Anyway today was great!! The weather was nice, not so cold as it has been in the last couple days. We spent the day looking at TVs. Yes it is about time we upgrade and get with the program.....Yes we still do have all old regular TVs and not 1LCD...yet that is. Were getting there..I hope at least. We have been to more stores since Friday then I wanted to go to all year!! Too many choices...wish they just had one size, one brand, and one price...wishful thinking!! Hopefully by this time next week we will have gotten a new one and I will be watching it with hubby!!! Enough about TVs...I'm tired of them for now!!!

Macy's sent me some coupons last week so I went today with the fam and racked up!!! Got some great deals!!! Plus I got some coupons for my next trip!! Hubby did well too...he lost some weight so he needed new jeans...WISH I had that problem...more wishful thinking...LOL..LOL

So Totally Rested!!!

Well I am happy to say I am just waking up from a long nap with my kiddies...Yes, that is right I took a nap today...first one in about a year or so, but that Wedding Last night wore me OUT!!! We had a blast...but boy was I tired..and it figures the one day you would love to sleep in the kiddies have another idea...Let's get up with the sun this morning. As if they know you are so totally tired...LOL I feel great now, so well rested and full of energy!! Now I have to start on the mountain of wash I have to do...FUN Stuff!!! Isn't it amazing all the wash that accumulates once you have kids?? Like when it was jut me and hubby I did maybe 4 loads a week...Not anymore...it's more like 2-3 loads a day!!! My son wears about 4 pair of socks a day.....Not to mention my daughter wearing about 3 outfits in a day as well!!! If only I could hire a laundry person...I would love that....Ohh, I better stop dreaming I am getting to excited thinking about it!!! LOL

Well my son woke me up today and said he wanted something different for breakfast this morning...can you guess what?? Candy!! Don't worry I said "No" I remember it the same way after Halloween when I was a kid too....all the excitement of all the candy in your pumkin bucket...like you have to eat before mom or dad get to it first....LOL...(of course, dad and I snuck a piece last nite...) Shh! Don't Tell!!

Well I am so excited...hubby and I have a date nite tommorrow night..just the two of us!! It is actually a wedding we are attending....close enough to date night for us...it has been a LONG while!! We need it!! We will of cousre miss the kiddies...but we need time for us as well. Gosh, I cannot remember the last time just the two of use went out without the kiddies...it's been that long!!

My son and I took a long walk/ride around a few blocks today....sometimes he amazes me how great his memory is.. ....He remembered a few houses along the way that were not home last night to give out candy/goodies.....I was pretty shocked he could actually remember that..Well, I guess he was thinking about the candy he missed out on...perhaps?? We had a great time....we were checking out the trees without leaves, the stream dirty and full of leaves, the kids getting off the school bus, the kids playing outside, and the mailman bringing us our letters. ..(as he words it) It was a beautiful day!! Hopefully we get a few more like it soon!!
