Well, the fall is almost gone and we have yet to rake our back lawn. It seems like every time we were ready to head out on a Saturday or Sunday morning the past few weekend where we had time, it would be raining out. Bummer!! The one morning we actually starting blowing and raking...and about 15 minutes after we walked out the door it started pouring rain! Yikes!! I suppose leaf clean-up was just not meant to be for us until now!! LOL LOL
So here it is our backyard...covered in leaves!! Literally I do not think there was place in the yard where a leaf did not cover the ground! We have 4 of our own trees in our backyard, plus 2 neighboring trees that border our yard. So leaves are plentiful come the fall season.
We decided since there were so many leaves that we would rake into piles then load them all onto the tarp and take to the font curb for pick-up later this week. Since we had rain the two days prior to our raking...the leaves were not only soaking wet...but very water-logged and heavy to move!!
Hey, look you can actually see the ground!!! Amazing....it's been a few weeks!! LOL
And here is our backyard 3 hours after we started. Leaf-free...well almost anyway...a few stragglers may still be here and there. Here's hoping that they blow away on there own!! LOL That's the upside to raking so late in the season....you only have to do it once...since all the leaves are now off the trees...in our yard anyway!!

That is an amazing transformation!
That's about as many leave as we had! most of them blew into the neighbors yard thankfully! He has a leaf grabber for his mower LOL!
Great tackle! Offices have a way of getting out of hand fast (at least they do here!)

Leaves are a never ending job here. We stopped raking them and just run over them with the mower. It mulches them into the grass. Very earth friendly!
You did a great clean up!!
Great tackle!! My husband did our this weekend while I made pies:-)
That is amazing! Nice job!
Wow! That's a bunch of leaves. You should invest in a mulching mower next year...
