SpongeBob Vs The Big One.....

I am sure you know all about SpongeBob Squarepants, you know he is the one who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Or am I the only one with that little catchy little tune in my brain? Well today the newest Spongebob DVD was released called SpongeBob Vs The Big One featuring the guest voice of Johnny Depp. So when asked about doing a review on SpongeBob Vs. The Big One DVD I was thrilled!! I knew it would be a great opportunity for Little Man and I to grab a big bowl of popcorn and relax on the couch for a bit.....laughing our heads off, it was a no brainer!

The first episode titled "The Big One" is the first of seven with a beachy sort-of theme to it. It is a real favorite for most SpongeBob fans. It kept Little Man laughing most of the way through in fact!! It all begins when Spongebob and his friends get swept away by a huge wave while at the beach. They end up getting separated from one another on a remote island and need to find Jack Kuhuna Laguna (Depp) to teach them how to ride the BIG wave back home to Bikini Bottom.

There are six other episodes on this DVD for a total running time of 89 minutes.

1. A Life in a Day- SpongeBob and Patrick add adventure to their dull lives by “livin’ like Larry.” And boy, does it hurt!
2. Sun Bleached -SpongeBob and Patrick can’t attend the biggest party on Goo Lagoon because they aren’t tan…yet.
3. Giant Squidward -Squidward’s Kelp Grow garden spray makes everything it touches HUGE!
4. No Nose Knows -Patrick returns from the surgeon with a nose and experiences the smell of stink.
5. Patty Caper-SpongeBob and Patrick are on the case when the Krabby Party secret ingredient goes missing!
6. Plankton’s Regular- Plankton has his first regular customer, but Mr. Krabs wants him at the Krusty Krab!

Little Man and I enjoyed watching this DVD from start to finish we laughed, smiled, and giggled. For some reason SpongeBob just has that effect on people. And if nothing else will reel you into watching this movie.....the part Little Man loved the best was Patrick's new ability to smell!! That's right Patrick tries out a nose....and is introduced to all the bad, yucky, stinky smells we face everyday!! Can he handle it? Or do those terrible smells become to overwhelming for him?
