So it's happened more than once in our home over the years.....one of the kiddies grabs a crayon from the crayon box and decides that the living room wall needs a bit more decorating than the current art work we currently have on it. Perhaps something a bit more original...at kid friendly height?? So with a crayon in hand they get busy creating a masterpiece. While it is quite lovely.....well the part they actually got to finish before Mom caught them, anyway....LOL LOL But, I much rather prefer the plain look on the bottom half of the living room wall. So what to do?The first thing that comes to mind is repaint the wall....yes, that is an option, but there is a much easier solution.
Goo Gone. Have you ever used it?? If, not let me explain. It is an amazing (in my opinion) cleaning solution that will remove anything sticky, gooey, or greasy and can be used on any surface. You simply grab a small rag, spray a little Goo Gone on the wall and then wipe clean....maybe scrub a bit if need be. And Walla the crayon marks will vanish. After cleaning the wall with Goo Gone I then would wipe down with a wet rag. Wall then looks good as new.....No one would ever know how decorated it once was.....
Goo Gone is very inexpensive at about $3.99 or so for a small bottle...which goes a long way, I must say. It has a citrus smell to it....which is great being that it is a cleaning product. And it is totally safe for the enviorment.
It will not only remove crayon marks, but also stickers, tape, grease, lipstick, makeup...and the list goes on!! We always make sure to have a bottle on hand....as we never know when a sticky situation may occur...LOL LOL
Lots more WFMW's over at Rocks in My Dryer!!

My Dollar Tree regularly has the big bottles of these in stock :) I know stock differs a lot per store, but it's worth a check the next time you run by one! I loooove this stuff!
Talk about perfect timing! Nathan grabbed a crayon when people were over visiting Kaydi and drew up the stairwell. I am definitely going to try this! (If it doesn't work on our primer, what a great excuse to make Rich paint, right?!) :)
