It is an important task that we all do daily to keep our dentist very happy, not to mention our friends and co-workers!!! Who likes the smell of bad breath..not me, anyway!! We teach our kiddies early on all about brushing their teeth...for a while we the parents do it for them to show them just how important it is!! Then as the toddler years approach we hand over the brush to them to let them give cleaning their teeth a try. But when handing over the toothbrush to them....how do they know when they are finished brushing? How long is long enough?
While at Walmart a while back I discovered these cool kiddie toothbrushes called Firefly. They come in a 2-pack and sell for about $1.68 per pack. The cool part about them is that you press the bottom of the toothbrush and they light up for 1 minute. This is a fun way to let the kiddies know just how long is long enough to brush their teeth. Sure beats hearing Mom or Dad keep telling you to keep going....few more strokes!! LOL LOL
After the light turns out...then I just do a quick double-check of the kiddies teeth and Walla....all is clean!! A simple, fun way to make the task of teeth brushing just a bit easier for the kiddies!!!

My kids LOVE their Firefly toothbrushes, and I love that I don't have to count while they're brushing! It's a win-win situation. :)
AWESOME! I've never heard of these before but they're going on my list for my next trip to the store! And less than $2 a pack, too! Unbeatable! My kids are gonna love these! :)

We've been using these for about a year--they are great!
We love that toothbrush! Its nice not to have to really keep track of how long they brush - the Firefly does it for you! wow, I sound like a commercial!
