Do you have a tucked away area in your home where the files of papers, booklets, pamplets, etc. tend to get all pile up and just sit.....for like forever?? Until one day you become ambitious enough to go through the stack and sort, re-file, or recycle. Well for me that day has arrived!!
We have a huge wooden chest in our attic that seems to just accumulated papers of all sorts...a mix of it all!! So I went in and grabbed a stack of file folders that were plum full, and went through everything in them. I found old health insurance books from before we had kiddies...Um...I guess out of sight out of mind, perhaps?? LOL LOL
So here is the pile I grabbed to go through......
And here is most of the pile.....yes, that's right shredded...and off to the recycling bin!!

Anyway, it feels great to have gone through as much as I did...and now that I am started....I am determined to get through the rest of the chest real soon!!

Great tackle! My kids love when I tackle papers. They love to shred them then play in them.
I started randomly going through some of my stuff and found lots of old utility bills. I shredded so much that I burned out my shredder and just finally got a new one!
Good for you for tackling it. I need to do it more often!
WTG! I had to buy a super duper shredder to handle all my papers.
OH MY that reminds me I have a huge bag of items to shred! I guess thats for another Tuesday!

I need a shredder badly. There is a filling cabinet here with papers dating to 1986! How much was your shredder?
SkyLaur....I think it was around $25 or so...on sale of course...LOL LOL I find that the real cheap ones do not last as long!!! I like to buy the 10 sheet at a time ones....makes it a bit easier to shread!!
